OUR STORY
A young man, on realizing the dangers lack of sanitary kits can cause to girls & women especially in the rural areas, was moved in February 2016 to act. He shared this idea with like minds who keyed into it thus birthing this movement on the 6th of April, 2016. Ever since then, we have evolved! What started as a concern is now a movement!
We are a CAC registered Non-Governmental Organization and a group of young people with the GOAL

Our first campaign kicked off in April 2017 with viists to 3 Orphanages (2 in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State and 1 in Ajah, Lagos State). We visited Ale community in Warri, Delta State on the 19th of July, 2017 to educate the ladies on Sexual Reproductive Health and distribute sanitary kits. We partnered with A HOPE & A FUTURE Foundation on the 30th of September, 2017 to impact the lives of 150 girls at the Special Correction Centre for Girls’, Idi-Araba, Lagos State.

We organized a School Tour in May, 2018 to empower young girls in secondary schools across Lagos, PortHacourt, Ibadan, Owerri and Abeokuta. We also partner with Female Empowerment Organizations like PadMan Africa, PadUP Africa, Bevy of the Elites Foundation, among others; to fulfill this goal.

We also visited the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital in partnership with FGGC Owerri, Abuja, 2007 ALUMNI to distribute sanitary items at the Female Ward as part of our Hospital Drive Project. We do not intend to stop! Please don’t see this as just ordinary “sharing of pads” or “a normal sanitation thing”. A woman in India according to Pune Mirror, died in March this year from contracting Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS), a rare, life-threatening complication of certain types of bacterial infections due to usage of reused pieces of cloth during her period.

We affect lives and show these women & girls they’re not alone. Join us on this journey as we proceed to fulfill this mission.
